English–Korean game localization

Translation, proofreading, LQA, and Korea-market consultation for games — 영한 게임 번역, 한글화, LQA, GRAC 상담. Per source word unless noted.

Language-Games is an English → Korean game localizer (STOVE Indie Awards 2025 Best Localizer). We handle narrative and UI text, then check it in the build. If you are entering Korea, we also walk through rating costs and whether a Korean build should land before GRAC.

FAQ

Before you send a kit

How much does Korean game localization cost?
Translation starts at $0.06 per source word, proofreading at $0.03, and translation plus LQA at $0.10. Final quotes depend on volume, UI density, and turnaround. For Korea-specific extras such as GRAC rating fees, see our cost guide.
Do you offer English-to-Korean game LQA?
Yes. We do linguistic and functional LQA in the build — menus, overflow, speaker tags, and player-facing tone — billed hourly or per word.
Can you help with GRAC or launching a game in Korea?
Localization process consultation is free. We advise on GRAC (게임물관리위원회) timing, the surcharge for unlocalized builds, and when Korean text pays for itself before rating.
What files do you work from?
JSON, CSV, XML, and spreadsheet loc kits. A usable kit needs string order, speaker/context, and branch markers — not extracted strings alone. See our loc kit guide.
Do you write Korean game news or launch coverage?
Yes. Language-Games also runs the registered internet newspaper 언어유희. We quote indie press, launch notes, and studio Q&A per piece.
How fast is turnaround?
Typical indie scripts move in days to a few weeks depending on word count. Rush work can carry a surcharge; we confirm dates before kickoff.
